Pretty and fun, yet still totally swoon-worthy, this Pennsylvanian wedding is everything you could possibly want…and more! Self-professed music lovers Brooke and Cole strived to make the day their own with personal touches and modern twists on the wedding status quo. The details? Classic and gorgeous, of course! The day began with a ceremony in the infamous rotunda, followed by dinner and dancing in the same space. Lush white floral arrangements from Allison McGeary Florist offset the mauve, gold, and greenery accents, while contemporary details like a champagne bar, custom neon sign bearing the newlywed’s last name, and an after dinner shot in lieu of a champagne toast gave a playful touch. Cheers to that! And while Leeann Marie Photography captured the day in its purest form, it is perhaps the sounds of this soiree that were the most unique. Brooke and Cole hand-picked meaningful songs to hear throughout the day. Cole even surprised Brooke with the song that was played as she walked down the aisle! The special touches only served to amplify the love between these two. Enjoy their fun-filled and beautiful affair!

About the Couple
We met through mutual friends in the fall of 2016. I was in physical therapy school at WVU and one of my classmates, Jen, decided that this guy would be perfect for me. She attempted a few different times to get us to meet, but she was so pushy that I blew it off for a while. Then one game day that fall, Jen had set us up to meet at a football tailgate. Unfortunately, we didn’t have fireworks that first time around. The following summer, Jen invited Cole out onto the lake with us and Cole and I began to start talking, more naturally this time around. That next week, the same group of friends went to a Dave Matthews Band concert and the rest was history!

About the Wedding
Our relationship was the biggest inspiration for our wedding. We are a couple that loves music and loves to laugh! We had some oddities throughout our ceremony and reception that showed our true selves. From using “The Office” theme song, to uncommon father/daughter and mother/son dances, each song our guest heard during our ceremony was important to us and hand-picked by the both of us.
Cole actually picked the song I walked down the aisle to and it’s one of his surprises to me. I didn’t know what I was walking down the aisle to until the big day! Instead of a champagne toast, we did a thank you after dinner shot to celebrate the day
